Card data never touches our servers

Payments are processed by established, PCI-compliant payment providers. Card numbers are entered in the processor’s secure flow — ScanToTIP does not see or store full card details.

Encrypted end to end

Every page and payment runs over HTTPS/TLS. Data in transit between the guest, ScanToTIP and the payment processor is encrypted.

Guests pay with methods they already trust — Apple Pay, Google Pay, and major cards — through the processor’s own secure checkout.

How a tip actually flows

  1. Scan. A guest points their phone at your ScanToTIP QR code — no app to download.
  2. Pay. They pick an amount and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card in the processor’s secure checkout.
  3. Record. The tip is attributed to the right person or team and recorded for reporting.
What we don’t do: we don’t store full card numbers on our servers, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t require you to buy or rent hardware.
